Cardiff Rugby have confirmed that all 48 members of the travelling party that left for South Africa in the final week of November have returned to their homes.
The Blue and Blacks were in Cape Town ahead of facing the Emirates Lions on the weekend of the 27th November when the UK Government added South Africa to the red travel list after the emergence of the omicron variant of covid-19.
After a week of trying to make travel arrangements the majority of the party flew home the following Friday and undertook 10 days of quarantine at a hotel near Gatwick Airport, with six players and staff remaining in quarantine in South Africa after testing positive for the virus.
Those six all returned to the UK at the end of last week and have now departed the quarantine in England after the UK Government removed South Africa from the red travel list and released all those still in quarantine hotels even if they have not done their 10 days.
