Cardiff tighthead prop Ollie Drake has been invited to play for Crawshays RFC in their game against Oxford University RFC at Iffley Road on Wednesday night, 7.15pm kick-off.
The 27-year-old, who joined the Blue and Blacks ahead of the 2019/20 season from Pontypool, has made 15 appearances for the club in all competitions, including three off the bench in the current campaign, most recently in Saturday’s win away at Pontypridd.
Drake is joined in the Crawshays squad by former Cardiff players Ross Pritchard (Merthyr) and Scott Gibson (Brecon), while Hemi Barnes (Merthyr) is a former academy member at the Arms Park and Gareth Davies (Merthyr) is the former first team fly-half and scorer of that try against Toulon.
Also included in the squad is Lewis Young (Ebbw Vale), son of current Cardiff director of rugby Dai Young.
