Cardiff & Vale College secured a statement win over Coleg y Cymoedd in front of the S4C Rygbi Pawb cameras at the Arms Park on Wednesday night.

The visitors hit back with 15 minutes to go as Jack Payne got over from close range, but Mackenzie Martin secured the win for Martyn Fowler’s men through a lineout move with 10 minutes to go.
A late Rhys Price try made the final score 17-12 and secured Cymoedd a losing bonus point, but it’s advantage CAVC at the halfway point of the pool stage as they top the table by three points.
Also on Wednesday, Ysgol Glantaf secured their first win of the competition with a comfortable 5-36 scoreline for Llywarch ap Myrddin’s men at Whitchurch High, who are still looking to get a maiden win under their belt.
