Cardiff RFC Head Coach Steve Law has made seven changes to the Rags side that beat London Welsh last time out as pre-season comes to an end away at Carmarthen on Saturday, 2.30pm kick-off.
Two of the changes come in the front row where Thomas Davies makes his return to action at loosehead prop, while Iestyn Harris drops down from the first team to start at hooker. The other changes in the pack see Rory Bartle join Sean Moore in the second row, and Gwilym Bradley replace fellow Academy openside Ethan Fackrell at flanker.
Fresh from making his senior professional debut at Harlequins last week, Ethan Lloyd starts at scrum-half, while James Beal and Barney Nightingale form a new wing duo.
Alun Rees and Theo Bevacqua drop down to cover the front row with the returning Ollie Drake, Sam Moore drops down from the first team for some game time as a back row option, while Dan Fish and Dafydd Smith are the fly-half and centre options, respectively.
