Cardiff have revealed the club’s three first team playing jerseys for the 2021/22 campaign as they revert to the traditional blue and black colours of the past.
Facilities, Compliance and Environmental Consultancy firm MSS Group remain as principal sponsor on all three jerseys, which are made up of a predominantly blue jersey with black detailing, a predominantly black jersey with blue detailing, and a blue and black striped jersey.
All jerseys have the club’s motto written on the inside of the collar in both English and Welsh, Nerth Trwy Undod – Strength Through Unity, with the Welsh flag printed on the back of the collar. On the two home jerseys the club badge is in English, while on the away jersey it is in Welsh.
The two block colour jerseys were designed before the return to being Cardiff Rugby was confirmed, but Macron Sports have added the specially designed third jersey at the special request of the club, with that jersey also having the club’s original skull and cross bones badge printed on the back.
Other sponsors Land Rover, Hugh James, LexisNexis Risk Solutions, Cardiff University, Indigo Group and High Motive all remain on the jerseys, which will be available from the WRU Store on Westgate Street from Saturday, and online from next week.
The replica jersey will cost £67, with junior jerseys costing £55 and a match jersey available for £90.
