It was a successful night for Cardiff U17s on Wednesday night as they got a mini-series of games off to a flying start against Dragons U17 Black at Ystrad Mynach.
Four first half tries gave the visitors a 12-22 lead at the break, before a dominant second half saw Chadd Mutyambizi’s men put four more tries on the board and tighten up the defence to secure a final score of 48-17.
Tries came courtesy of a brace from Regan Nickson, Ben Geraghty, Ethan Rudyj, Rhys Price, Evan Wood, Gavin Parry and Harry Wilde, who finished with a total of 13 points thanks to his goal kicking.
Cardiff now meet Dragons U17 Red at the Arms Park next Wednesday night.
