U18s return with comfortable win

Cardiff U18s marked a return to competitive action for the first time in 16 months with a big win over Scarlets U18 at the Arms Park.

The side coached by Craig Everett and Dan Fish were making their first appearance in a three-team series against the West Wales team and Dragons U18, with the Scarlets having gone down late to the Dragons at home a few days before this game.

Tries from scrum-half Zak Fifield, centre Louie Hennessey-Booth, winger Jake Thomas, a brace from full-back Cameron Winnett and scores off the bench for lock Dylan Thomas and centre Ryan Wilkins saw the home side cruise to an impressive win.

Six conversions out of seven for Harrision James made the final scoreline 47-10, with the U18s next heading to Ystrad Mynach to face the Dragons next Sunday.
