Cardiff Blues director of rugby Dai Young has called upon experience in midfield as three Welsh internationals are drafted into the starting XV.
Tomos Williams, Jarrod Evans and Willis Halaholo will line up at 9, 10 and 13, with Ben Thomas sliding into the centre to wear a third number in as many games during this Rainbow Cup, as Jamie Hill drops out while Max Llewellyn (shoulder) and Owen Lane (suspension) miss out.
The only other changes to the starting side that took the field against Dragons see Kristian Dacey start at hooker in place of Kirby Myhill, while James Ratti is back at number eight as Sam Moore is rested. Josh Turnbull takes on the captaincy.
There are a lot of new faces on the bench where Corey Domachowski, Liam Belcher, Lloyd Williams and Harri Millard could get their first Rainbow Cup outings, while Keiron Assiratti, Rory Thornton, Gwilym Bradley and Dan Fish are recalled having featured against Ospreys in round one.
Cardiff Blues: Hallam Amos, Jason Harries, Willis Halaholo, Ben Thomas, Josh Adams, Jarrod Evans, Tomos Williams; Rhys Carre, Kris Dacey, Dillon Lewis, Seb Davies, Cory Hill, Josh Turnbull (c), Olly Robinson, James Ratti
Replacements: Liam Belcher, Corey Domachowski, Keiron Assiratti, Rory Thornton, Gwilym Bradley, Lloyd Williams, Dan Fish, Harri Millard
Sam Moore hardly needs a rest – he needs game time. Is this another injury?

He has hardly played for two years. His game time is being managed very carefully. Would not expect him to play on a six-day turnaround.
