Cardiff Blues prop Scott Andrews has joined Worcester Warriors on loan for the remainder of the Gallagher Premiership season.
The 31-year-old will head to Sixways immediately after an injury to Conor Carey and the loan of Joe Morris to the Jersey Reds in the Greene King Championship. While there he will compete for the number three jersey with South African pair Nick Schonert and Richard Palframan.
Andrews has made six appearances in all competitions for Cardiff this season, starting just once, and hasn’t featured since the New Year’s Day defeat to the Ospreys. Altogether he has 189 appearances for the club, as well as winning 14 Wales caps.
This will be his second spell in England after a stint at Bath early in the 2017/18 campaign. He could make his debut this weekend away at reigning champions Exeter Chiefs this weekend.
