Former Cardiff Blues fly-half Nick MacLeod has left his role as Academy kicking coach after two years within the development pathway.

He joined the coaching staff in November 2018 on a part-time basis, and has assisted the likes of Ben Thomas, Ioan Davies, Ben Burnell and Jacob Beetham with their kicking in that time as they progress from age grade rugby to the first team.

Before that MacLeod had spent four years at the Arms Park between 2004 and 2008, playing 82 times and scoring 240 points before heading on to Sale Sharks and finishing his career with a season at the Dragons.

He also runs a business, The One Mile Bakery, delivering home made bread to subscribers in and around the Rhiwbina Village area.
