Adams back as one of six changes to face Stade

Cardiff Blues will be able to welcome back Wales winger Josh Adams into the starting XV to face Stade Francais Paris at Rodney Parade on Sunday, 5.30pm kick-off.

The 25-year-old was rested last week after featuring heavily in the Autumn Internationals, but gets the nod on the wing where Owen Lane should have started but Harri Millard actually took the field against Newcastle Falcons last week.

There are two changes in the forwards as Ben Murphy starts in the second row and Alun Lawrence gets the nod at number eight. Shane Lewis-Hughes is not included at all while Sam Moore drops to the bench as Cory Hill switches to blindside flanker.

At scrum-half Lloyd Williams starts over Tomos Williams, who drops to the bench, while Max Llewellyn is preferred to Ben Thomas at inside centre, who also takes a seat with the replacements.

The final change is another switch to the side that actually took to the field in Newcastle as Aled Summerhill is back on the wing after overcoming non-covid illness, with Hallam Amos reverting to full-back and Matthew Morgan dropping out of the 23.

On the bench there are returns for internationals Dmitri Arhip, Rory Thornton and Rey Lee-Lo giving the replacements a much more experienced feel than those which came on a week ago.

Cardiff Blues: Hallam Amos, Aled Summerhill, Garyn Smith, Max Llewellyn, Josh Adams, Jarrod Evans, Lloyd Williams; Brad Thyer, Kris Dacey, Dillon Lewis, Ben Murphy, Seb Davies, Cory Hill, Josh Turnbull, Alun Lawrence

Replacements: Ethan Lewis, Rhys Carre, Dmitri Arhip, Rory Thornton, Sam Moore, Tomos Williams, Ben Thomas, Rey Lee-Lo
