Cardiff Blues’ game against Leinster in the Guinness Pro14 on Sunday evening will be refereed by Scottish official Mike Adamson.
The former Scotland 7s international will take charge of his 46th league fixture, having made his debut four years ago in November 2016 when Munster beat Benetton 46-3 at Thomond Park.
It will be the eighth time Adamson has refereed Cardiff Blues across all competitions, with us securing four wins during those games. Only one of those wins have come away from home, at the Southern Kings in September last year.
This will be his second time officiating a Leinster home game, with the Irish side overcoming fellow countrymen Munster and Connacht across his previous visits.
Adamson has taken charge of just one game so far this season, Ulster’s 12-24 win over Ospreys at the Liberty Stadium during which he sent off Iain Henderson for a high ruck entry. He will be assisted by George Clancy and Peter Martin, while Ollie Hodges will act as Television Match Official.
