Cardiff Blues scrum-half Lloyd Williams has been added to the Wales squad for the Autumn Internationals after Rhys Webb picked up a knock against France on Saturday night.
The 30-year-old was withdrawn from the trip to Munster on Monday night, where he was due to start and captain the side, late on Sunday in order to join the national team squad at the Vale Resort ahead of preparations beginning to face Scotland in Llanelli this weekend.
Williams has not been involved with the Wales squad for four years, winning the last of his 28 caps against Japan in November 2016, but has started the season in excellent form playing a key part in Cardiff Blues wins over Zebre and Connacht.
He will now compete with Gareth Davies and Kieran Hardy, as well as Webb if fit, for a spot in the matchday 23.
