Cardiff RFC winger Joe Gatt and second row Kieran Martin will both play their rugby at Bridgend Ravens when the Indigo Group Premiership starts up again.
They join Zach O’Driscoll in heading back to the Brewery Field, with the flanker’s return having been announced by the Ravens last week.
Both players joined the Blue and Blacks in the summer of 2018, and quickly became key members of the squad that pushed Merthyr all the way in the Premiership and won the club’s first WRU National Cup since 1997.
Martin featured 24 times in the engine room, starting 16 of those, while Gatt made a huge 33 appearances, starting 32 of those and scoring nine tries including in the Cup quarter-final win over Bedwas.
Due to injuries and selection neither player featured particularly regularly in 2019/20, Gatt playing 12 times and Martin just seven, and they know head back to Bridgend where they both played before joining Cardiff.
