Cardiff Blues confirm season membership policy

Cardiff Blues have contacted supporters confirming the three options available for 2019/20 season memberships after the COVID-19 pandemic.

The season was suspended with four home games still to play at the Arms Park; Zebre, Ospreys, Southern Kings and Connacht. Although it has been announced the Guinness Pro14 will be completed in August, those games will be played behind closed doors.

As a result Cardiff Blues are offering supporters the chance to claim a refund on those remaining games or, if they can afford to do so, use the balance as credit towards future purchases or donate the money to the club.

The financial pressures facing the business are no secret, with COVID-19 set to have a serious impact on this year’s accounts with a £4-6m gap in funding appearing, while the effects are set to last over the next few years.

If supporters can then they are urged to support the Cardiff Blues by donating their money to the club in what will be a massive boost to the coffers, playing their part in securing the long-term future of the team and providing something to look forward to on the other side of the pandemic.

Cardiff Blues have confirmed that supporters who choose to support the club financially at this time will be rewarded with exact details being looked in to.
