Thyer and Ratti in as Cardiff Blues head to the Liberty

There are two changes to the Cardiff Blues side that will start at Ospreys on Saturday as John Mulvihill tweaks his pack for the trip to the Liberty Stadium.

Brad Thyer makes his first start since the win over Benetton as Rhys Gill drops to the bench at loosehead, while James Ratti is re-introduced into the starting line-up against his former club with Josh Turnbull dropping back to number eight and Will Boyde shifting to openside.

Olly Robinson is the man to make way and becomes an excellent option to bring off the bench, with Macauley Cook also providing cover to the back five of the pack.

Aside from that the team is the same as that which was selected to face Pau last week as John Mulvihill continues to deal with quite a lengthy injury list.

Corey Domachowski, Kris Dacey, Dillon Lewis, Dmitri Arhip, Seb Davies, Rory Thornton, Josh Navidi, Ellis Jenkins, Nick Williams, Willis Halaholo and Rhun Williams are all still sidelines, although it is hoped Navidi and Nick will be back for the Boxing Day clash against Dragons.

Cardiff Blues: Matthew Morgan, Owen Lane, Rey Lee-Lo, Ben Thomas, Josh Adams, Jarrod Evans, Tomos Williams; Brad Thyer, Kirby Myhill, Scott Andrews, Filo Paulo, James Ratti, Shane Lewis-Hughes, Will Boyde (c), Josh Turnbull

Replacements: Liam Belcher, Rhys Gill, Keiron Assiratti, Macauley Cook, Olly Robinson, Lloyd Williams, Jason Tovey, Hallam Amos
