Cardiff Blues will be able to call on two players who headed to Japan this week for the first time since the tournament ended at the start of November.
In total ten players were involved in the Wales squad last week for an out of international window game against the Barbarians, with Dillon Lewis, Seb Davies, Tomos Williams, Jarrod Evans, Owen Lane and Josh Adams all featuring on match day.
Shane Lewis-Hughes, Josh Turnbull and Hallam Amos were all released back to the Cardiff Blues for the win over Benetton on Saturday, while Ioan Davies trained with the Wales squad last week along with a number of other stars of the future.
Jarrod, Lane, Lewis-Hughes, Turnbull and Amos will all continue to be available to John Mulvihill, as they have been at varying points of the season so far, but they will now be joined by Tomos and Adams who have been rested after heavy workloads at the Rugby World Cup.
There is further good news as recent short-term signing Filo Paulo will also be available after training with the squad for the first time on Monday, while a number of injured players are nearing a return to fitness.
Corey Domachowski, Liam Belcher, Josh Navidi, Nick Williams and Olly Robinson are all close to getting back on the field, although whether this Saturday is too soon remains to be seen.
