Cardiff RFC have made four changes to the starting XV that will face Aberavon in a first v second clash in the Indigo Group Premiership at the Arms Park on Friday night, kick-off 7.30pm.
Steve Law has opted for one change in the pack, where Teddy Williams starts at second row with Sam Pailor dropping to the bench, as the Cardiff Blues Academy player has been able to train fully after a Wales U20 camp last week.
In the backs there are a number of changes as Leon Andrews and Ioan Davies drop out entirely, as Sam Beard steps up from the bench and Jason Harries will make his Cardiff RFC debut dropping down from Cardiff Blues.
Dan Fish also drops down to start at full-back with Joe Scrivens switching to the bench, while Max Llewellyn will move to outside centre.
On the bench there is a recall for Lloyd Pike after Zach O’Driscoll picked up an injury last week. The back rower will make his first appearance since the win over Llanelli in September.
There is no sign of Ben Thomas though, despite the player telling supporters he was playing for Cardiff RFC after the Cardiff Blues game last weekend, and John Mulvihill reaffirming that this week.
