There will be a new face at Cardiff Arms Park on Saturday evening as Scottish official Ben Blain takes charge of a Cardiff Blues game for the first time.
The referee from the Borders has only refereed three games in the Guinness Pro14 to date, with only one of those taking place this season, having only joined the Scottish elite refereeing panel in 2017.
Two of those Pro14 games have been between Dragons and Munster, with the Irish side winning both, while the other saw Connacht snatch a one-point win away at Zebre.
Blain also took charge of three European Challenge Cup pool stage games last season, all of which resulted in home wins as Benetton beat Agen, Zebre beat Enisei and Clermont overcame Timisoara.
He will be assisted by an all-Scottish team on Saturday, with familiar face Mike Adamson on touch along with Fin Brown, while Andrew McMenemy will act as the TMO.
