There are three changes to the Cardiff RFC starting XV that will take the field against Carmarthen Quins on Saturday at the Arms Park, kick-off 5.15pm.
Head coach Steve Law has made two alterations that see Cardiff Blues players drafted in as James Botham starts at openside flanker in place of Zach O’Driscoll, and Dan Fish gets the nod at fly-half ahead of Gareth Thompson.
The other change is a pleasing one for Cardiff RFC supporters as last season’s top try scorer Edd Howley returns from injury to play at full-back for the first time since the opening round of the Indigo Group Premiership.
Big changes come on the replacements bench though, where only back row Alex Everett and scrum-half Ben Williams retain their spots.
Brynley Toms, Ethan Lewis and Peter Lloyd will form the change front row, with Callum Bradbury returning to fitness to cover second row. Thompson drops down the bench, while Max Llewellyn is back in Cardiff RFC action to cover the outside backs.
