Cardiff RFC return to Indigo Group Premiership action this weekend, welcoming Swansea RFC to Cardiff Arms Park on Saturday for a 2.30pm kick-off.
Head coach Steve Law is able to call on some Cardiff Blues players again, with the Celtic Cup coming to an end, one of which is centre Ben Thomas.
The 20-year-old won his Blue and Blacks club cap last season as he helped the team to second place in the league and Specsavers Cup glory, as well as picking up the Premiership’s Best Young Player Award.
He is joined in the starting XV by Academy second row Teddy Williams, who makes his full Cardiff RFC debut after featuring in a pre-season friendly, while Kirby Myhill, Will Davies-King and Dan Fish are all on the bench.
Other changes to the team that beat Llanelli three weeks ago see Ollie Drake come in for Peter Lloyd at tighthead, James Thomas makes his first Blue and Blacks start ahead of Alex Everett, Tom Habberfield wear name in place of Ben Williams, and James Beal come on to the wing rather than Barney Nightingale.
Everett and Williams drop to the bench, along with Sam Pailor and Leon Andrews, with Lewis Francis the only player who stays a replacement.
