Warren Gatland has made two changes to the Wales team that beat Australia for Wednesday’s Pool D encounter with Fiji in Oita.
Both changes come in the back row, with Justin Tipuric rested and Aaron Wainwright dropping to the bench, while James Davies and Ross Moriarty start in their place.
Gatland has confirmed that Tipuric was 100% fit and available, and would likely start against Uruguay on Sunday, where he is expected to name a much-changed starting XV.
Dan Biggar is fit to start, having gone off in the win over the Wallabies with a head injury, after going through the return to play protocols, while Hadleigh Parkes continues to play having fractured a bone in his hand against Georgia.
There is also a change on the bench where Rhys Carre replaces Nicky Smith, and is set to make his World Cup bow while winning just his second Wales cap.
