Cardiff Blues Women head coach Darren Bool has made five changes to the starting XV for Sunday’s game against RGC.

It follows last weekend’s 5-18 loss at the hands of Scarlets Women in an opening round double header of the Women’s Regional Championship at Llandarcy.

Ospreys Women currently lead the way, having won both of their two games, with Cardiff Blues requiring a win at Rhyl RFC on Sunday to keep pace before playing the reigning champions in the final round.

To do that Wales international Manon Johnes has returned at flanker, in place of Shona Powell-Hughes, with hooker Bronnie Jones in for Kim Jones while Emily Maisey replaces Charlie Mundy at lock.

In the backs Niamh Tinman starts at scrum-half in place of Kierra Deeks, while India Berbillion switches to 12 with Millie Williams starting at fly-half.

The bench is boosted by another Welsh international, fly-half Robyn Wilkins, while Emma Preece, Jenni Scoble and Seren Gough-Walters are also involved.

Cardiff Blues: Catherine Richards, Paige Randall, Molly Philpott, India Berbillion, Rebekah O’Loughlin, Millie Williams, Niamh Tinman; Jordan Hopkins, Bronnie Jones, Cerys Hale, Emily Massey, Liliana Podpadec, Abbie Fleming (c), Manon Johnes, Georgia Evans

Replacements: Emma Preece, Danyelle Dinapoli, Lily Snape, Charlie Mundy, Jenni Scoble, Kierra Deeks, Robyn Wilkins, Seren Gough-Walters
