Cardiff Blues have confirmed the fixtures for this season’s Cardiff Blues A Celtic Cup campaign, starting on the Saturday of the August Bank Holiday weekend.
It’s Leinster A first up who will visit the Arms Park on August 24th, before the following week sees a trip to Northern Ireland where the team will face Ulster A at Malone RFC, with a 19:30 kick-off on Saturday 31st.
Following that it’s back to the Arms Park on Saturday 7th September, with Dragons A the visitors for a 15:30 kick-off, before a short trip down the M4 to play Ospreys A at Bridgend’s Brewery Field on Friday 13th.
The final three weeks of the competition see a trip to Irish Independent Park in Cork to face Munster A on Friday 20th, before back-to-back home games against Connacht A on Saturday 28th, and Scarlets A on Friday 4th October.
If Cardiff Blues A are in the top two spots in the league after all seven games, they will then progress to the Celtic Cup Final on Saturday 12th October.
The team will be led by Cardiff Blues Academy coaches Gethin Jenkins and T Rhys Thomas, assisted by Cardiff Blues U18 coaches Craig Everett and Aled James.
