The 2019/20 Welsh Premiership fixtures have been announced, along with the first round draw of the WRU National Cup, with both competitions getting new title sponsors for next season.
It will know be known as the Indigo Group Premiership, with the business services company who have an office in Penarth taking over from Principality who have sponsored the league for the last 14 years.
Meanwhile the Specsavers Cup will be the knockout competition, as the opticians take over sponsorship of that competition, as well as the WRU National Leagues, as was announced last week.
Cardiff RFC will start the bid to improve on last year’s second place in the league at home to old rivals Pontypridd on Saturday 7th September.

Historic rivalries then continue to rounds two and three as we travel to Parc y Scarlets to face Llanelli, before welcoming Swansea to the Arms Park.
We play the return fixture against Pontypridd at Sardis Road between Christmas and New Year, while the season officially finishes on the 4th April at home to Llandovery.
The Blue and Blacks will commence the defence of the Cup away at RGC on Saturday 14th September, with the competition being spread out over the whole season, rather than just being played between January and April.
It is a repeat of last year’s second round tie that Cardiff won on the way to the Final where we overcame Merthyr to lift the trophy for the first time since 1997.
