Cardiff Blues have confirmed details of their trip to Bilbao for next month’s European Challenge Cup Final against Gloucester at the San Mames Stadium.

Thomas Cook will be running a two-night trip to Northern Spain, leaving Cardiff Airport on Thursday 10th May and returning on Saturday 12th, with accommodation and match tickets included, as well as matchday transfers to Bilbao from the hotel, which is roughly an hour outside of the city.

Altogether the trip will cost £699 per person, but there are limited places available, follow this link if you wish to book your place.

Separately, Edwards Coaches will be running three trips to the Final for Cardiff Blues supporters, with a six-day itinerary, each stretching from Wednesday 9th to Monday 14th.

Coaches will depart from various locations in Cardiff and the surrounding areas, with each journey following the rough plan of travelling on days one and two, the match on day three, a lounge day on day four, then travelling home on days five and six.

Trips will stay at Biarritz (£549pp), Suances (about 90 minutes west of Bilbao, £549pp) and Bayonne (£599pp), and all include matchday transfers, but do not include match tickets. Follow this link to view the trips on the Edwards website.

There is also a cheaper coach option courtesy of Wonky Sheep Events. Leaving late on Wednesday 9th it is a coach down to accommodation three hours away from Bilbao, match transfers to and from the game, and then a return journey that arrives back in South Wales for Sunday 13th.

Match tickets are not included for this trip either, but you can find the details at this link.

As you may well have seen, tickets for the Challenge Cup Final are still showing as on sale on the EPCR website, however when you click on the stadium plan, tickets disappear quickly. Cardiff Blues have an allocation of tickets, but only a limited amount, details of how to access them have been e-mailed to supporters.
