Cardiff Blues U16 have continued their incredible set of results this season by going unbeaten as a combined squad over the last two weeks.
It comes after they dominated the U16 regional age grade championship as the North and South sides, finishing first and second respectively with the only loss between them coming as the North beat the South on the final day to clinch top spot.
Now, after the coaches somehow managed to whittle down those 60-plus players into one 37-man combined squad, they have joined forces to reign supreme over the other regional age grade sides once again.

Starting in Ystrad Mynach they took apart the Dragons U16 12-42, before turning their attention to the two West Wales sides.
Confusingly playing them in the wrong grounds, they won out 17-22 over Scarlets at St Helens, before beating Ospreys 12-31 at Parc y Scarlets last night to stay unbeaten in the combined stage of the season.
That means that altogether, across 19 games for the South, North and Combined sides, Cardiff Blues U16 won 18 games this season, a quite outstanding 95% win ratio.
Congratulations to the players, coaches and all their families and supporters on their hard work and success this season, and here’s hoping for many more. The future is definitely blue!
