The Guinness Pro14 fixture between Cardiff Blues and Benetton Rugby has been re-arranged for Friday 16th March with a 19:35 kick-off at Cardiff Arms Park.
Originally the fixture was meant to take place on Friday, but due to the inclement weather in South Wales it was called off with health and safety concerns, as well as travel issues for Bentton, in mind.
It was one of five games in the Pro14 called off this weekend, with only matches in South Africa going ahead in round 17.
With the game re-arranged it now leaves two weeks for Danny Wilson’s men to recover from any niggles or knocks picked up over the last three games, as well as generally putting their feet up.
They also avoid a five day turnaround after the win in Zebre last Sunday, and gain an extra game to generate momentum before the European Challenge Cup quarter-final in Edinburgh.
Some might say, it’s a blessing in disguise!
